The Tin Hau Festival in Hong Kong is one of the most colourful celebrations of the year. It commemorates the birthday of ‘Tin Hau’, the Goddess of the Sea, a patron saint of the city due to the territory’s historic ties to the ocean for its livelihood. A deity that is honored at the Tin Hau Temple at Joss House Bay- the festival consists of a riot of colour, a vibrant, festive atmosphere, lion dances and more – it is a real taste of Hong Kong of old and a joy to be a part of. This year, aqualuna will sail from Victoria Harbour to this historic Tin Hau Temple, one of the oldest and largest of its kind in Hong Kong, and invite you and the family to join in on the fun and revere the Goddess of the Sea.
